After last week’s totally dumb “Bachelor in Paradise” fight, in which Genevieve and Aaron got into a mind-bendingly silly argument about whether itching and pain are the same thing, what fresh idiocy can this Monday’s (Nov. 21) episode possibly bring? Oh, and won’t we be sorry we asked?

The finale of the goofy Season 8 is tomorrow, but tonight sounds like it will feature some end-is-near drama. Here’s the ABC synopsis: “After a season full of twists, turns and romance like never before, it all comes down to this. With only one rose ceremony standing between the eight remaining couples (and one single gal) and the end of paradise, Jesse Palmer drops an unexpected bombshell that will have everyone questioning where they stand. Later, once the roses have been handed out, the remaining couples have an important decision to make—will they stay until the end in hopes of an engagement, or will they leave and pursue a relationship away from the sands of Mexico? For some, it won’t be an easy choice.”
No doubt, there are some viewers who really do believe that these couples who have known each other for a short time are totally ready to be engaged. But, seriously? Is that such a good idea?
Although, judging from the lovey-dovey chemistry viewers have seen so far from Portland’s own Brandon Jones and Serene Russell, maybe “Bachelor in Paradise” can be a place to find lasting romance.
We’ll have to tune in tonight to see if love has truly bloomed amid the beach-going bachelors and bachelorettes.
“Bachelor in Paradise” Season 8, Episode 15 airs at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21 on ABC.
