After years of working their way up the ranks of Oregon’s Class 4A elite soccer programs, Ontario finally planted its flag at the top.

Senior Jaaziel Chavez scored an early goal against Phoenix as the Tigers beat the Pirates 1-0 for the state championship on Saturday night at Liberty High School.
