Boys soccer: Sasha DeVassie leads Westview in 2-1 comeback win over Grant in the state second round

After falling ahead early in Tuesday night’s game, the Westview boys soccer team got some major help from senior Sasha DeVassie as the Wildcats picked up a 2-1 victory over visiting Grant in the second round of the state tournament.

“It means so much to me. Especially being my last year,” DeVassie said after the victory over the Generals. “I’m so excited to play the next game.”

The Wildcats (12-2-2) will play at No. 2-seeded Lakeridge in the state quarterfinals on Saturday.
