Gernorris Wilson, 3-star offensive lineman, commits to Oregon Ducks



Oregon has landed a fifth offensive line commitment to its 2023 recruiting class.

Gernorris Wilson, a three-star offensive lineman, out of Lakeland High School (Fla.), committed to the Ducks on Wednesday. Previously committed to Auburn, Wilson chose Oregon over North Carolina, Louisville, Michigan State and Florida State.

The 6-foot-5, 285-pound Wilson is the No. 75 interior offensive lineman and No. 987 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite.

Wilson is the 25th player to commit to Oregon’s class, joining quarterback Dante Moore, wide receivers Jurion Dickey and Ashton Cozart, cornerbacks Caleb Presley, Cole Martin and Collin Gill, defensive linemen Tevita Pome’e, Terrance Green and My’Keil Gardner, edge rushers Jaden Moore, Teitum Tuioti amd A’Mauri Washington, running back Dante Dowdell, safeties Kodi Decambra and Tyler Turner, linebackers Jerry Mixon and Blake Purchase, tight end Kenyon Sadiq, offensive linemen Bryce Boulton, Lipe Moala, Iapani Laloulu and George Silva, and preferred walk-ons kicker Grant Meadors and long snapper Nick Duzansky.

Oregon’s class moved up one spot to No. 11 in the 247Sports Composite.
