On Oct. 25, the Lincoln girls soccer team picked up a 2-1 win over Grant. The win forced a three-way split in the Portland Interscholastic League title.
But the game was full of moments that created a level of plausible deniability. Lincoln’s first goal of the contest was an own goal by Grant and the Generals were without their starting goalkeeper.
