Liberty scores 28 straight, tops Clackamas to advance to the Columbia Cup semifinals

Liberty junior quarterback Tytan Rekow paced his team with two touchdowns — a 12-yard rushing, and a five-yard passing — as the Falcons battled to a gritty 28-18 victory over the Clackamas Cavaliers in the Class 6A Columbia Cup Quarterfinals.

With four different players scoring for the Falcons, Rekow emphasized how they operate as a team with an unselfish mentality.

“We all know how to score, our offense makes it so that everyone can get the ball,” said Rekow. “We don’t have ‘a guy’, we are 11.”
