The social media critics were louder after Mariota seemingly overthrew wide open tight end Kyle Pitts on a deep pass during the Atlanta Falcons’ loss to the Los Angeles Chargers Sunday. Had the pass been completed, Pitts likely would’ve walked into the end zone for a touchdown and given the Falcons a 24-17 lead late in the fourth quarter. Instead, the Falcons suffered a 20-17 loss.
