Oregon Ducks offensive lineman Steven Jones returns from left foot sprain with perspective on potential coaching future

Steven Jones felt two pops in his left foot before halftime against Eastern Washington. He finished out Oregon’s drive, which ended with a touchdown on the final play, and when it was time to return to the field after halftime, the offensive lineman’s foot swelled up.

“It was hard for me to walk,” said Jones, who suffered a mid-foot sprain and was told he nearly fractured his Lisfranc joint, which is an extremely painful foot injury.
