Oregon Ducks edge rusher DJ Johnson and nose tackle Taki Taimani were each in full pads for a second straight practice and receiver Chase Cota was among the players absent on Wednesday.
Johnson, who missed last week’s game at Cal, was a full participant during the early periods Wednesday morning at the Hatfield-Dowlin Complex while Taimani was limited three days before the No. 6 Ducks (8-1, 6-0 Pac-12) host Washington on Saturday (4 p.m., FOX).
“It looked like (Johnson) played with great effort and energy today,” Oregon coach Dan Lanning said.
Cota, offensive lineman Dave Iuli and walk-on offensive lineman Kanen Rossi were absent and safety Daymon David was also not seen.
Offensive lineman Steven Jones was not in pads and center Alex Forsyth was in pads and went through a first period drill but did not take any reps during the second period blocking drill.
