
Oregon signed three top 50 players to its 2023 recruiting class, which ranks in the top 10 nationally.
Five-star forwards Kwame Evans Jr. and Mookie Cook and four-star guard Jackson Shelstad signed with the Ducks on Wednesday in what is the No. 7 ranked class in the 247Sports Composite.
Evans, a 6-foot-9, 200 pound prospect from Baltimore, is the No. 11 ranked player in this year’s class. He’ll finish his career at Montverde Academy in Florida.
Cook, a Portland native, is the No. 15 played in the class. The 6-foot-7 forward is finishing his high school career at AZ Compass Prep, one of the nation’s top prep programs in Chandler, Ariz.
The reigning Gatorade Oregon Player of the Year, Shelstad led West Linn to a 21-3 record while averaging 27.0 points, 5.5 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 4.3 steals per game as a junior.
