Oregon’s Keeshawn Barthelemy is out 4-6 weeks with a left foot injury, but fellow guard Brennan Rigsby could return next week, according to Ducks coach Dana Altman.
Barthelemy injured his left foot injury before halftime of Oregon’s loss to Houston on Sunday. He returned to the bench wearing a walking boot and didn’t return.
“He’s got a foot problem and he’s out four to six weeks,” Altman said after Oregon’s loss to UConn in the opening round of the PKI Thursday night at Moda Center.
The Colorado transfer is averaging 8.5 points, 2.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 26.5 minutes this season
Rigsby, who is has missed all five games so far due to a preseason right foot injury, has been out of a walking boot for over a week. Altman said he hopes the junior college transfer could return when Oregon (2-3) hosts Washington State on Dec. 1.
“That’ll be trainers, doctors,” Altman said. “He won’t play this week I don’t think. He’s making progress and he’s getting close, but I don’t know that they’ll release him this week yet.”
