Oregon State made its first appearance of the 2022 season in the coaches’ top 25 poll Sunday, landing at No. 22.
The Beavers, coming off a 31-7 win at Arizona State, are 8-3 heading into Saturday’s regular season finale against Oregon.
The Associated Press comes out with its top 25 later Sunday morning. The Beavers were No. 25 in last week’s poll. OSU was No. 23 in the College Football Playoff rankings last week. The CFP rankings come out Tuesday.
Oregon State had only been “others receiving votes” in previous coaches polls. The Beavers were one of three previous unranked teams that were promoted to the top 25 this week, joining No. 24 Texas and No. 25 Texas-San Antonio.
The Beavers are one of six Pac-12 teams in the coaches poll, joining No. 5 USC, No. 9 Oregon, No. 12 Washington, No. 14 Utah and No. 18 UCLA.
