Oregon State improved six positions to No. 16 in this week’s football coaches poll after the Beavers defeated Oregon 38-34 on Saturday.
The Beavers completed their regular season at 9-3. They were No. 22 a week ago.
Oregon State checks in one spot below Oregon, No. 15 after it finished its regular season at 9-3. Other Pac-12 teams in the coaches poll are No. 4 USC, No. 9 Washington, No. 12 Utah and No. 17 UCLA.
The Associated Press Top 25 comes out later Sunday morning. The College Football Playoff rankings are released Tuesday afternoon. Last week, the Beavers were No. 22 in the AP poll, and No. 21 in the CFP.
Next up for Oregon State is the bowl schedule announcement on Sunday, Dec. 4.
