Oregon State Universty’s Corvallis campus lost power just a few hours before the school’s football team was slated to face the University of Oregon.
Power has been restored to Reser Stadium, but the rest of the campus is still in the dark, the school said around 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Pacific Power shows four outages in the area affecting over 6,500 customers. The power company lists the problem as a substation issue and estimates a fix before 4:30 p.m.
The school has not said if the game will be affected.
UPDATE: The game kicked off on time and has not been affected by the power outage. As of 2 p.m., the outage is still affecting 3,529 customers. Pacific Power expects power to be restored by 3 p.m.
