Shooting near Jefferson High School injures teen



A second shooting in four weeks injured a student near Jefferson High School, police said Monday.

Two 17-year-old students were in a car after school around 3:30 p.m. on Monday when someone from a passing car fired a gun at them several times, shooting one of the students in the shoulder, police said in a statement. The injury is not life-threatening, police said.
