The Class 6A state championship match has been set, and it will feature the Sheldon Irish and the Jesuit Crusaders in a clash of Oregon’s top teams. One will be looking to reclaim its position at the top of the state and one will be looking to grab the title for the first time.
Sheldon won its semifinals game on Friday night with a 3-1 (25-19, 25-23, 6-25, 25-11) win over Westview.
The Irish looked dominant in the game against the Wildcats, but the Irish took a big hit in the third set as they couldn’t get any momentum going their way as the Westview fans roared in the Forest Grove gym.
