DAN LANNING
— On Bo Nix, he knows how his body feels. Will still get treatment this week. “Keep evaluating as we get closer.”
— Liked how defense played
— “We have a lot of guys that are banged up.” Not getting into injuries at all.
— On OSU OL: Runs wide zone stretch, well coached. QB makes good reads.
— Says 3 players who have played 4 games will not have availability impacted by preserving redshirts.
— Says he probably would’ve gone for it on fourth and 1 from Utah 41 had Bo Nix not converted on the late run.
— On Nix’s INT: “Glad to see (Phillips) get tackled down.” Says it was an elite play by Clark Phillips III.
— On OSU’s third and short running, key is to avoid those and get extra hats when possible.
— Very confident Popo Aumavae will be back for another year. Aumavae wants the year and they’re confident he’ll have it granted.
