What Dan Lanning said about Oregon’s win over Utah, trip to Oregon State

No. 10 Oregon travels to No. 22 Oregon State on Saturday.

Oregon coach Dan Lanning held his weekly press conference tonight to recap the win over Utah and preview the trip to Corvallis.

Below are live updates Lanning’s press conference. A full transcript will follow.

— On Bo Nix, he knows how his body feels. Will still get treatment this week. “Keep evaluating as we get closer.”

— Liked how defense played

— “We have a lot of guys that are banged up.” Not getting into injuries at all.

— On OSU OL: Runs wide zone stretch, well coached. QB makes good reads.

— Says 3 players who have played 4 games will not have availability impacted by preserving redshirts.

— Says he probably would’ve gone for it on fourth and 1 from Utah 41 had Bo Nix not converted on the late run.

— On Nix’s INT: “Glad to see (Phillips) get tackled down.” Says it was an elite play by Clark Phillips III.

— On OSU’s third and short running, key is to avoid those and get extra hats when possible.

— Very confident Popo Aumavae will be back for another year. Aumavae wants the year and they’re confident he’ll have it granted.
