Who will join USC Trojans in Pac-12 championship game? It all comes down to the Apple Cup

It all comes down to the Apple Cup. Neither the Washington Huskies or Washington State Cougars will make the Pac-12 football championship game, but their rivalry game clash on Saturday night in Pullman, Washington, will decide who will join the No. 6 USC Trojans in the conference title game.

There were many scenarios entering the final weekend of the Pac-12 regular season, but the most straightforward path was for the No. 9 Oregon Ducks to beat their rivals, the No. 21 Oregon State Beavers, in their annual game. That didn’t happen, as the Beavers came back from 21 points down to win 38-34 Saturday in Corvallis.
